Hill Queen Education Institute

Hill Queen Education Institute, Ziro, is a private institute located at Para Pabu, Hapoli. It is non-political, non-religious institute committed fully to the holistic development of students.

The school is fully furnished with well-ventilated building with sufficient area for students to play around. It is located behind ITBP Officers' Mess, a walkable distance of around 500 metres from the main road.

Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives of the school is to provide sound education through character formation which may help the children in becoming true citizens.

The school has a modern facility for holistic development of students. Apart from imparting basic academic education, children are also made ready for higher education through various seminars, symposiums, curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Special attention is paid to the inner and outer discipline of student as it is one virtue behind all successful men. The children are tried and tested intermittently and are made competent in all skills. Besides strict norms in the school, the children are provided with parental care, making them feel homely away from home.

Rules of Discipline

  • The school will begin with morning assembly every day at 9:00 a.m. Therefore, all the students should reach the campus by 8:45 a.m.
  • The regular classes will begin at 9:15 a.m.
  • School uniform is must for every student. Students should come to school with full uniform prescribed by the institute.
  • Uniform shall be checked every morning. Students coming without neat and clean or half uniform may be sent back home. Therefore, all the students should be habitually clean and wear neat uniform.
  • Magazines, comic books, novels etc. are not allowed to be brought to the school.
  • Parents and guardians are not allowed to meet particular student(s) or teacher(s) in class room or during class hour. Prior permission should be taken from Principal or Staff Co-ordinator (in absence of Principal) before doing so.
  • Complaints, suggestions, if any, should be communicated only through Principal or Staff Co-ordinator. Suggestion box may also be used for the same.
  • Students are expected to respect teachers and bear good moral conduct in and outside the campus. Anyone who disrespects teachers or whose conduct is injurious to the moral tone of the school may be dismissed with or without further notice. In the above matter, the Principal's decision will be the final.
  • No student is allowed to leave the school premises during class or recess time without the permission of the authority. If anyone found violating the rule may be suspended. If the mistake is repeated again she/he may be even rusticated permanently.
  • Dying of hair is strictly prohibited. Students are expected to come to class with short and well-cut hair. If the authority find students not following this rule, he/she may be sent back home.
  • Cosmetic of any sort like lipstick, kajal, looking-glass etc is strictly prohibited inside the campus. If such things are found, it shall be seized and shall not be returned back at any cost.
  • Intoxicants like Tiranga, Gutkha, Cigarettes, bidis or any substance labelled as 'drug' is strictly prohibited inside the campus. If the students are found using such things, he/she will be rusticated from the school with immediate effect.
  • Cell phones, I pods or any gadget of that sort is strictly prohibited. If such things are recovered from any student, it will be seized and will not be returned at any cost. If such things are repeated twice, the student shall be terminated with immediate effect.

Leave of Absence

  1. Leave will be granted only on genuine reasons. In that case, submission of application is mandatory. Application may be submitted to the Principal or Staff Co-ordinator (in Case of Principal's absence.)
  2. Students who report back to the school after the treatment for an infectious or contagious disease should produce doctor's certificate.
  3. Students shall be immediately sent back home if she/he comes to school without complete uniform or text book. In that case, the student's attendance shall be marked 'absent' for the day.
  4. Encase any student fails to fulfil 80% attendance in one academic year, she/he will not be allowed to appear in the final examination. In that case, the authority shall entertain no request or persuasion from the parent's side.
  5. No student will be permitted to go out during school hours to attend social or religious functions. If it is necessary to attend such functions, parents are advised not to send their ward to school on that particular day.

Recommendations to Parents

  1. Parents are requested to study the rules and regulations carefully and sincerely before seeking admission.
  2. Parents' cooperation is absolutely essential in all aspects of curricular activities of the school. Therefore, parents are requested to see the daily diary progress of their wards from time to time and encourage their ward to do better.
  3. Parents are requested to check the school diary daily.
  4. Parents are requested not to criticize any teacher in front of students as it may cause Insubordination by the students to their teachers.
  5. Parents under alcoholic influence will not be allowed to enter the school compound.
  6. Parents are requested to pay the instalments in proper time for smooth running of the institute.
  7. The above mentioned rules and regulations have been carefully drawn up to facilitate the smooth and efficient conduct of affairs of the school and for the convenience of both parents and the school authorities. A strict observance of them is expected from all concerned.
